  • Boulder County Night of Noise Summit — April 12

    Join us for Day of Silence on April 12, 2024, and support LGBTQ+ students!

    Friday, April 12

    4:30 - 9 p.m.

    The event starts at the Pridehouse (1443 Spruce St., Boulder)

    Main programming and march will end at Boulder Public Library (1001 Arapahoe Ave.)

    We will start with poster making at the Pridehouse then break the silence with a visibility march through Downtown Boulder. Afterward, we’ll gather at the Boulder Public Library for a night of activities, food, and fun!

  • Fort Collins Night of Noise — April 12

    Meet at the Lory Student Center on CSU's campus at 5 p.m. for the visibility march, or at the Fort Collins Museum of Art at 6 p.m. for the event.

    There will be performances, food, open mic, resource fair, GSA competition, and poetry. This event is free to attend. All ages and identities are welcome.

  • QTPOC Youth Internship Application is now OPEN!

    Calling all QTPOC Youth who want to create community! This application is for queer and trans youth of color, ages 13-18 who are interested in an Internship (paid hourly) working alongside the Youth Program Assistant to develop and plan Out Boulder County's annual QTPOC Youth Camp Retreat as well as supporting and creating programming for several other OBC events.

Out Youth Program

Our Youth Program is Out Boulder County's social and educational space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning (LGBTQ+) youth and their allies ages 11-18 (Under 12 need a guardian permission form signed).

Out Boulder County’s youth programming strives to help youth thrive and flourish in their personal lives and in the broader community, now and in the future. Out Youth offers opportunities for leadership, social justice education, advocacy, volunteerism, social events, and special projects.

Our comprehensive programming includes:

  • LGBTQ+ Youth Support Groups (FREE, drop-in, and all year long)

    • We run three weekly LGBTQ+ youth groups that are free, drop-in, and year-round! Our groups include our Monday LGBTQ+ middle school group (ages 11-14), our Wednesday LGBTQ+ high school group (ages 14-18), and our Thursday Queer and Trans youth group (all LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 12-18 co-facilitated with OASOS).   • FREE gender-affirming apparel (binders, clothing, etc.)

  • FREE youth bus passes are available for youth who need assistance with transportation to get to and from our groups. Reach out to Chris or a group facilitator for support.

  • Book Queeries:

    • Next month's book is Messy Roots: A Graphic Memoir of a Wuhanese American.

      Explore LGBTQIA+ representation in books! Teens across the gender and sexuality spectrum are welcome to attend and engage in fun dialogue and activities, snacks provided. For teens / grades 6-12. Meets at the Out Boulder County Pride House (1443 Spruce St. Boulder, CO) on the first Thursday of the month at 5 p.m.
